Disney World Character Dining
Dining at Disney is always an experience whether it’s quick-service or table-service. But if you want a little extra, you can actually dine with characters! There are many places that offer it and dining style can vary by buffet, family-style buffet, or made-to-order style.
1900 Park Fare
Located at the Grand Floridian resort, this dining spot is actually pretty recently updated. Prior to its closing for Covid-19 it had different characters for breakfast and dinner, but since its reopening it just features 4 characters. It did however update to include newer movie characters that are a bit harder to find. They are Mirabel, Aladdin, Cinderella, and Princess Tiana. This location serves only breakfast and Dinner buffet style!
Chef Mickeys
Located in Disney’s Contemporary Resort is Chef Mickeys! It’s probably one of the most popular character dining spots because it hosts the fab 5 classic disney characters: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy. It serves Breakfast and Dinner buffet style.
The Crystal Palace
Located in Magic Kingdom Park, The Crystal Palace features buffet style food with Winnie the Pooh characters. Characters include Pooh, Piglet, Eyore, and Tigger!
Garden Grill
Located in the Land Pavillion in EPCOT, comes this unique style dining experience. Featuring Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Pluto as characters, this spot rotates around as you dine. Don’t worry it’s not too fast! Food is served family-style, which means a mini feast at your table.
Ohana
Located at the Polynesian Resort is Ohana, a restaurant named from Lilo and Stitch. Naturally of course it features Lilo and Stitch as characters as well as Mickey and Pluto. Food here is served family style at your table and this location only offers character dining for breakfast.
Storybook Dining
Located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. Serving for only dinner and Snow White characters. Here you may find Snow White, Evil Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy. Food is served here to order from a menu of options.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Located in the Norway Pavillion in Epcot, is one of 2 princess dining spots in the theme parks. Serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with characters like Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Snow White, and Tiana. Do note that characters can vary and change here on occasion.
Tusker House
Located in Animal Kingdom theme park is Tusker House Restaurant. Safari themed characters here include Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy. Open for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is served buffet style.
Hollywood and Vine
Located in Hollywood Studios theme park is Hollywood and Vine. This spot is a bit unique in that is has different characters for Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner. For breakfast you can eat with Disney junior characters buffet style. Characters can include Doc Mcstuffins, Goofy, and Vamprina. They can vary and change based on new shows. For Lunch and Dinner, it is seasonal dining with classic characters like Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto. Also served Buffet styles, characters will be dressed differently for each season!
Topolino’s Terrace
Located on the rooftop of Disney’s riviera resort is Topolino’s terrace. Breakfast is the only time served character style with made-to-order food from a menu. Characters here may include Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. The character outfits here are unique to the hotel as well!
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Located in Cinderella’s Castle is our 2nd location featuring princesses. Here, you can meet Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine, and Snow White. Characters are subject to change on occasion. Open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, food is served to order.
Cape May Cafe
Serving for breakfast with characters, this dining spot is located at Disney’s beach club resort. Characters may include Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy. Breakfast is served buffet styles and characters are dressed in beach attire.
